Local Parent Carer Forums in the Eastern Region

The membership of each local Parent Carer Forum (PCF) is made up of parent carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs / Disabilities, all of whom have a full range of experiences in Health, Education and Social Care due to their children’s wide range of needs. In the East of England, the network of local PCFs work together to effect local, regional, and also national service improvement through participation and co-production between service providers and parent carers. Each parent carer’s work is focused locally but by working regionally we have been able to influence the regional commissioning processes that now have significant impact on local service development and strategic planning.
